Soen: Lykaia Digipak

SOEN devotes their third album "Lykaia" to an archaic ritual on the Lykaion, where young men are said to have eaten meat, supposedly human. The Swedes around ex-OPETH and AMON AMARTH drummer Martin Lopez are not so much into the depths. Which does not mean that the lyrics are flat, but just that this is not a concept album. Rather, they use the symbolism behind it and lament the dog-eat-dog mentality of our society. (metal.de)
